Did y'all miss me? Haha, just kidding. Probably didn't.
[Just a little warning, this post will be set up quite different from the last ones. :)]
OKAY. WOW. I have been waiting for this moment my entire life-- maybe even longer. And it's here. It's here. The eighth and final story of Harry Potter-- is here. Which is why, on July 30th, at 11:27 pm, I ventured to my nearest Barnes and Nobles to get The Cursed Child the very moment it was released. And oh my God, it was magical.

[Me, holding the book.] | [Yes, I actually taped a lightning-shaped scar onto my head.] |
[I drew the Deathly Hallows symbol on my wrist.] | [I also drew a pretty crappy Dark Mark.] |
Basically, I was there, and Zaina was too. We had a bit of a ~fangirl~ moment where we violently flapped our hands up and down screeching like Augureys. We were basically the living representation of "ASDFGHJKL;". After that, we had a bit of fun with the "selfie station," which included cutouts of Harry Potter-related things-- for example, Dumbledore's beard, Luna's Spectrespects, a broomstick made of a tree branch and a paper back (it was no Firebolt :/), etc. that you could hold up to your face. Which was fun. AND THEN, they began calling up tickets. First up was the green tickets, which we didn't have. We had the red tickets, which OF COURSE HAD to be the last ones called out.
Finally, we got to the counter and GOT. THE. BOOK. AND. IT. WAS. BEAUTIFUL.
We went home and finished the book in less than a day. Lord, it was FULL of plot-twists.
Let's take a look at them, shall we?
Part 2 coming soon. :)

- Pg. 7-13
DAWWW! I love this little replaying of the 'Nineteen Years Later' scene. It's been so long and… this is what we were left with. All we had to base our imagination on, about what happened after. And now, we will find the truth. - Pg. 14
Wow. Rose is certainly very calculating. Like, she's willing to rate all the people on the train to see who to be friends with? O_o - Pg. 16
ROSE [to Scorpius] That's putting it mildly. Your parents were Death Eaters!
Okay, Rose, I'm trying to like you, but that was uncalled for. Scorpius seems like a nice kid. - Pg. 17
OKAY I CANNOT FATHOM THE FACT THAT THERE'S A RUMOR THAT ASTORIA GREENGRASS WOULD HAVE A SON WITH VOLDEMORT. LIKE EW?!??!?! WHAT?!?! And Rose is skeptical of the fact that it's a lie!? I thought that her parents would raise her to be less prejudiced, given all that happened to Hermione. :/ - Pg. 18
I can tell Albus and Scorpius are going to be great friends and it's so cute, given that their parents were basically enemies. - Pg. 20
Of course Rose would be a Gryffindor… XD And Albus in Slytherin? TBH I kinda expected that. - Pg. 21
ROSE: Albus? But this is wrong, Albus. This is not how it's supposed to be.
The quick change of scenes, progressing through the year fast, all ending in things going wrong for Albus, makes me think this won't be such a great year for him. And Rose's line is a perfect summary of Albus' situation at Hogwarts. - Pg. 22
See? What did I tell you. He's already on his second year. - Pg. 24
Rose and Albus aren't frieeennnnddsss. *sound of my heart breaking* And I have a feeling Scorpius likes someone… - Pg. 26
IT'S BEEN TWO DAYS AND IT'S ALREADY HIS THIRD YEAR?! AND HE BURNT HIS HOGSMEADE PERMISSION SLIP?! I feel bad for Albus, but I can understand Harry's frustration. - Pg.27
Oh.…So she's dead. - Pg. 28
OH, I almost forgot about Lily! She's in Gryffindor, of course. But Albus is hinting that being Harry's son isn't the best thing. - Pg. 34
Huuuh? Okay. That's a hard decision. - Pg. 36
Who is this Delphi and what does she have to do with anything. - Pg. 42
OH. MY. GOD. Why is Albus doing this?!?!?!??! - Pg. 48
Why's Harry's scar hurting again? What's going on? - Pg. 50
Well, Rose, you tried. - Pg. 55
OMG what is UP with the trolley witch?! - Pg. 65
Albus and Scorpius.…WHY YOU DO THIS NO BE SAFE DON'T BE LIKE HARRY. - Pg. 74
DRACO: I don't care what you did or who you saved, you are a constant curse on my family, Harry Potter.
Roll credits. Also, I think that's the only time Draco has ever said Harry's first name. - Pg. 77-78
He kisses HERMIONE firmly.
[.…]
ALBUS/RON: Let's have another baby.
OKAY EW ALBUS YOU DISGUSTING CHILD. SHE'S YOUR FREAKING AUNT. - Pg. 89
There is a wet smear down the back of his trousers.
TMI! TMI! O_o - Pg. 96
SCORPIUS appears at the back of the stage. He looks at his friend talking to a girl-- and part of him likes it and part of him doesn't.
JO, WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO HINT AT HERE?! - Pg. 106
And suddenly the "greatest showman on earth" (his words, not ours) is onstage […]
Ahahaha I love this. - Pg. 110
Okay, maybe I was supposed to side with Scorbus here, but TBH I was happy when the adults found them. - Pg. 115-116
Harry...? What are you doing...? What's going on?! - Pg. 188
WHAT WHO PADMA WHAT RON HUH. - Pg. 123
HARRY: This map will reveal to you where my son is at all times-- I expect you to use it. And if I hear you don't-- then I will come down on this school as hard as I can-- using the full force of the Ministry-- is that understood?
PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL (bewildered by this vitriol): Perfectly.
GINNY looks at Harry, unsure of what he's become. He doesn't look back.
Well. I'm with Ginny on this one-- why would Harry ever act like this? Doesn't he remember the last time the Ministry "[came] down on this school as hard as [they could]"??? UMBRIDGE happened, that's what. - Pg. 125
I am profoundly perplexed by this point. And this strange, mean new Hermione really reminds me of Snape. - Pg. 130
Ooh, some action. :) Also--
DRACO: [...] Keep up, old man.
HARRY: We're the same age, Draco.
DRACO: I wear it better.
Ah, true Draco Malfoy magnificence at its finest. - Pg. 134
I love Scorpius. XD - Pg. 141-142
PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL: [...] Albus? Albus Potter. Scorpius Malfoy. Are you in there-- together? Because I advise you not to be.
(The boys hide under the Cloak.)
PROFESSOR MCGONAGALL (from off-- trying to give them every chance): I am about to enter. [...] Well, where have they-- [...] Unless... Your father's Cloak. [...]
She smiles to herself.
Well, if I didn't see you, I didn't see you.
I LOVE this scene. AHHH MINERVA. <3 - Pg. 143
I love their little bromance. - Pg. 144
SERIOUSLY YOU'RE GOING A G A I N?!?!?! - Pg. 146-147
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Romione! But don't you think it's a little unfair to Padma that her husband is in love with another girl?? - Pg. 149
Progress is being made! YES. Good job, Harry, for realizing you were being a bit of a butthole. - Pg. 160
WHAT THE HELL IS VOLDEMORT DAY?!
Part 2 coming soon. :)
